Town of St Armands Board Meetings

A Special Board Meeting of the Town of St. Armand was held on the above date at the Town Hall, Bloomingdale, NY.

Notice was sent to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise regarding this meeting.
Town Supervisor Charles Whitson, Jr. called the Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Town Supervisor Charles Whitson, Jr. led the Pledge of Allegiance.

HIGHWAY DRAINAGE:

Supervisor Whitson began the Highway Drainage discussion with information regarding the work to be completed and two quotes that were received for the job. Integrated Rigging and Contracting submitted a quote of $19,610.00 and Trudeau Sand and Gravel submitted a quote of $23,000.00. Discussion regarding the scope of the work, the paving, parking lot, earthen berms, storm water, buried rocks, and number of days to perform the work ensued.

RESOLUTION 46 of 2014 - Installation of Sub Surface Drainage Pipes from Highway Garage into the Drop Inlet

Deputy Supervisor Grimone, who moved the adoption, offered the following resolution:

WHEREAS, The Town Board of the Town of St. Armand agrees to approve the necessary repairs to install sub-surface drainage pipes and connections into an existing drop inlet on the north side of Route 3, and

WHEREAS, the sidewalks, curbing and shoulders shall be replaced either in-kind of as approved by the Region, in accordance with Sections 3.03.01 through 3.03.06, as indicated by Resident Engineer, and

WHEREAS, the Town of St. Armand shall adhere by all NYSDOT, Federal MUTCD and Americans with Disabilities' Act in accordance to the application, and

WHEREAS, the scope of this work is in addition to the contract the Town of St. Armand shall entered into with Integrated Rigging and Contracting, in an amount not to exceed $19,610.00, and

THEREFORE, the Board of the Town of St. Armand does hereby give permission to Supervisor Charles Whitson to sign any such agreements and contracts regarding this project on behalf of the Town of St. Armand.

This resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson Bates, and was adopted by roll call vote as follows:

Deputy Supervisor Grimone made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilpersons Amell. Supervisor Whitson adjourned the meeting at 6:43 pm.
